On this day in….1982:
Fleetwood Mac releases the second single from the Mirage album, “Gypsy”. The B-side is a non-album track “Cool Water”. Stevie wrote the lyrics sometime in 1978-1979 and the song was first demoed for her “Bella Donna” album but it didn’t make the cut. After Stevie’s friend Robin passed away the song took on a new meaning as a tribute to Robin. The song reached #12 on the Billboard chart.

My favorite FM song. Everything about it is flawless.
